What do you want people to know most about you?: Luz Sanjurjo (changobi) is a full-time studio artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. With a distinctive, innovative and very personal visual voice her work carries recurrent themes of transformation and transmutation. Her creative process is one of atonement and mending. It is the transcendent language of a woman experiencing life, both the good and the bad. Her latest body of work is a series of seven self portrait drawings entitled "The Seven". More about the series will be announced at a later date.

In addition to her personal work creative work, she is an advocate of art in women prisons as a form of therapy and is passionate about promoting the arts to inner-city community youth. In 2008 she co-founded The Music. Love. Life. Soul Collaborative alongside Christian "Platano" Martell , directing the Visual Arts division.
