Coney Island portraits is one of Tanja Beate Heuser’s current ongoing projects. She felt in love with this place in 1990, at the age of 16, when she traveled to America her first time. Now, 20 years later, the area has undergone huge changes. Parts of Coney Island such as Astroland will exist no longer in its current form.
