Today i had a long conversation with an old friend. The conversation at the beginning what generic state of the union address, everyone is great, everything is fine. After about 20 minutes and a slight awkward silence a torrent of need coursed between us and we began expelling information about what was really going on in our lives. As it would turn out, everything was not fine, in fact, everything was pretty fucked. Our conversation didn't clarify or rectify anything, but it felt good to know we weren't alone.

At home I have a board in the hall which we as a family write the moment, in chalk is the message... Happiness is not the absence of problems..... it has been there for 8 months.. nobody wants to remove it !!!
