In critique artists will discuss a concept or theme that they are
grappling with in their work. Our discussion will be based around how well that idea is expressed through form, and how well the art works fit together as a body of work. We will ask ourselves how materials communicate a concept.

In order to minimize installation time, half of the group will be asked
to come at least 15 minutes early in order to install their work, and
the other half will install during a halfway 15 minute break.

During critique, the artist will be given a few minutes in order to
make a short statement about their theme and how they approached it. Through formal analysis, the group will discuss how well the idea is communicated and how the artworks fit together as a body. At the end of the discussion, artists will be free to ask questions and express concerns that may have not been addressed in the critique.

This critique will be offered at 5 pm on Thursday December 1st.
Depending on how many artists have this concern, we may create a
rotation that will accommodate each artist.
