Deadline: December 2nd 2013

This opportunity is available for those who wish to curate solo and group shows. All are invited to apply. Accepted applicants will be granted free access to the BAS gallery, an 850 square foot exhibition space for two to three weeks.

The Guest Exhibition Program has just one opening per year.  After the selection process, recipients of the Guest Exhibition schedule a subsidized 2-3 week exhibition at Trestle Gallery during the 2013 season.

The artist or curator receives free access to the gallery, an opening reception, a gallery sitter throughout the exhibition, an exhibition checklist, gallery labels, and extensive marketing services—including flyers, prominent space on trestlegallery.org, and an e-mail invitation to our mailing list.  For the reception, access to a sound system with an iPod-ready hookup, a utility sink, and garbage removal is provided. A staff member will be present throughout the reception. Trestle Gallery/Brooklyn Art Space receives a 30% commission on all artwork sold.
