Burton Machen joins other leading artists in contributing unique series or editions to “Unframed” hosted by Margaret Russell and Ross Bleckner, presented by ELLE DÉCOR. The event will be held Wednesday, June 3rd from 6 to 9p at the 15 Union Square West luxury development. Art world legend Jane Holzer and leading collector Stephen Heighton will curate the event.

Regarding ACRIA, Machen says, “I am honored to be a part of this event and to have my work included. ACRIA has been so important in the research to find a cure for AIDS and helping people live longer with the disease. I am happy to contribute in any way.”

For more than 16 years, “Unframed” has been considered one of the most exciting art events in New York City. The auction donates 100% of the proceeds to support ACRIA’s HIV & AIDS research and education programs. Admission is $20 at the door only.

Hi Sylvia, thanks for posting this - sounds like a fantastic event and a GREAT cause. You may want to post it in the events section here on BAP which gets picked up by many blogs, websites and twitter followers. The section is at: http://www.brooklynartproject.com/events I'd be happy to help you get the listing added if you like. Just let me know. :) // Anthony

Anatomical kaleidoscopy

Immagini tratte da uno studio di parti anatomiche, elaborate in maniera caleidoscopica. Risultato: non particolarmente esaltante...pur nella sua originalità.
