Article on BAP in Contemporary Art Philippines Magazine

If you're anywhere in Asia this month, pick up a copy of the current issue of Contemporary Art Philippines to see an article on BAP! Thank you Jack Teotico and Tara FT Sering for including us!

It's a great magazine that tracks the landscape of Philippine art and the talent is pretty astounding. Having spent quite a bit of time here over the last year, I'm consistently impressed with the local artists in their execution and philosophy. I was particularly moved with the work of Toti Cerda's shown below.

This painting captured one of the things that fascinates me most about the Philippines. The happiness of the kids. Despite poverty and harsh living conditions you see so many of them jumping, singing and smiling - even in the rain.
