With an increasing number of gadgets to carry around a limited number of pockets, design gurus are in a quandary. They're looking for your ideas about where you see today’s fashion & technology influences coming from to help figure it all out. You can submit your thoughts via video or email to Z Spot Now, the group putting the contest together. The best entry wins a trip to NYC to talk more about your ideas, then move onto a chic meets geek after-party.
Some of the brightest minds in the biz will lead a panel discussion to kick things off including celebrity stylist Philip Bloch, Parsons Professor Sabine Seymour, head designer for Baby Phat Fashion Kevin Leong, Co-Founder and Creative Director for the hi flying House of Diehl MJ Diehl , ID Magazine managing editor Jill Singer and AOL/Switch columnist Tom Samiljan.
One grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip for two to New York City in November to meet the panel, cover the event for the official ZSpotNow blog and of course, party. The Grand prize includes a roundtrip plane ticket and 2 night stay in New York City for 2, $300 in spending money, an NYC Helicopter tour with limo transportation, 2 VIP tickets to the Z Spot Now New York event and 2 Fujifilm FinePix Z20 Digital Cameras.
To participate, submit a 60 second video to the Z Spot Now
or send a 200 word essay to email@example.com explaining where you see today’s fashion & technology influences coming from. The contest ends on September 30, 2008. More info at http://www.zspotnow.com/zspotnewyork
