Global writers and poets are connecting internationally via the internet. Why should only the literature mainstream in the USA, Australia and Britain take the lead? The world literature…

1. Das Ritual (Satis Shroff)
Eine betagte Dame sitzt auf dem Boden
und spielt ein Tamborin.
Die anderen sitzen im Kreis.
Plötzlich legt sie das Tamborin beiseite,
Steht auf und verläßt den Raum.
Sie lebt in einem Altersheim.
Sie öffnet…

THE DANCE OF THE BIRCH TREES (Satis Shroff)
The naked white birch trees
Stand close to each other,
Waiting for the music
Of the Dreisam Valley wind

The hurricane-like wind
Gathers its…

Ah, the reassuring rays caress your face, As you proceed to the balcony, Stretch yourself And let out cha-cha-cha, Pa-pa-pa sounds between your teeth, That you've learned While singing in your choir. A seagull with a fish in its beak Flutters by. All white and airborne, Twinkling on a blue…
