I adore these types of stormy, damp, cold and misty days. They seem to make me feel exhilarated. Maybe it is an aversion to all the blue skies and sun from growing up in PR. Or maybe it is my enamourment of jolly ‘ole England. Who knows?
...So I decided to take a walk around where I work so that I can think and clear my mind. I am currently working on designing some new covers for a book series and have a touch of ‘designers erectile dysfunction’.
So it’s official. I suck as a consumer. I was supposed to get up at the crack of dawn to snag all of these “specials” instead I stood up until 5 am listening to music and fixing my iPod. i recently submitted some abstract works to an open call for artists here in los angeles. i'm kind of picky about who and what i submit art to -but this show was different.

the only way to do something… Continue
I am pulling apart again. I'm trying to glue the hairline fractures with music and words. I think that the books I am currently immersed in are bearing to much weight on the delicate fragility and the glass is crackling beneath the pressure. It's all a chain reaction of push and release– a cavalcade tsunami. It's funny. I am stronger than ever on this point, I can talk about it, I can think about it, I can even smile when I say her name... but she still floors me. On top of this my muses are… Continue

Last night I had another one of those lucid dreams. In it I saw someone who I have grown distant from and the minute I saw them my heart reeled with ache and longing. I asked, how do you stand it? They replied, I remember every conversation, every hug, everything you. I woke up with my pulse thuding in the dark.
I can feel it coming...
