Which of the following best describe you?
Professional Creative, Photographer, Sculptor, DJ
How often are you the first among your friends to try something new?
All the time
What do you want people to know most about you?
My first passion is music. I currently work in areas such as music production, composition, engineering, and editing. I also work in video; editing, jib operator, and simply as a video artist. My pursuits in these areas and the passion to create the most comfortable and efficient working environment have taken me into other mediums such as sculpting and functional art inpired by the studio and the artist's workspace (Mild Steel, Wood, Stone, and Salvaged materials). The technology and processes that are required and involve my primary work, sound and video tend to leave me jaded, with tired eyes and ears. The tools that allow me to create such art are simultaneously the obstacles and resistance that stand between me and the ability to effectively complete relative thoughts and expressions. To avoid frequent dispiriting interruptions in the articulation of my ideas, feelings, thoughts, and simply my existence as an artist, and being for that matter, I work in more tangible mediums that coincidentally are more natural and are crafts that I have inherited or come into through the influence of my father. These mediums and remedies were born out of necessity and to aid my goals as a musician and artist of film and photography. Somewhere along the way and in this process their purpose and definition has been transformed into the art itself and something I am as passionate for, if not more, than the art they were originally meant to support. Though more traditional these processes carry the same characteristic found in all of my art and that is being highly technical and involves the relentless pursuit to use tools and technology in unorthodox and innovative ways to attain expected as well as unexpected results.
