Pendu, Inc. is a nonprofit arts and culture organization. Our mission is to increase public awareness of culturally-significant work from visual artists, performers, and writers that are often marginalized and overlooked. We create a dialogue with the public through our magazine, record label, and webstore as well as through creative productions, art shows, workshops, and music events in various spaces throughout NYC.

Pendu has received praise from Vice Magazine, Village Voice, Arthur Magazine, New York Press, Impose Magazine, Foxy Digitalis, and others for our events, album releases, and website content.

I've created a fun little online exhibition of artists with their cats simply entitled "ARTISTS AND CATS" on PenduGallery.Com

If you'd like to participate, send a jpeg or gif photo (not too large) to info(at)pendu.org. Make sure you add your name and cat's name to the email as well as a link to your myspace or website. Tell your friends as well. Everyone's invited.

The more people who participate the better!
