Hello

Have you seen Brooklyn’s grandest example of Public Artwork?  It was built on a framework designed by our fellow artists, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.   They felt that social reform could be achieved through art.  Nobody is aware it exists.  Development may eclipse it.

The Empire State Building is framed inside and bisects Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Arch.

Protecting and promoting this work-in-progress, begun before the Civil War ended, is now up to today’s artists.  We can raise public awareness and save this massive and unknown Public Artwork. If you can, forward the links to artists, politicos, media and civilians – Thanks - Richard
