- My work combines my love for folklore and early American amuseuments. My new series of paintings are based on proverbs, maxims, and aphorisms. My interests in sideshows, circuses, science, and curiosities, result in cameos from various figures of the era. My goal is to reveal the folklore of a bygone era while exposing the importance of these sayings in the present by providing the viewer with a raw and sometimes haunting look at early American entertainment.
