The inspiration of Naado’s social network was to provide an outlet for artists of indigenous or disadvantaged peoples to promote their work and to use fair trade as a medium of social and economic security, furthermore, providing ethnic and cultural awareness in the process. However, the idea has evolved into a global network for individuals, artists, producers, companies and organizations to share information, ideas and projects. Naado is a strong believer in empowering the artists of the world to help them succeed and become self-reliant. We consider art, in any form, to be an encouraging medium for social and economic development, as well as cultural awareness.
