5 years ago , I Wrote In Persian language a Symbolic Drama Based on 11 Sep
I Knew Enghish language a little & My Drama Was as Long as a Romance
Therefore I didn’t Translated it , I upload it on my website & Send a message for Several Theatrical center in USA ( I wrote for Them, translated it 4 yourself & use it as free ) I went to travel and When I came back, I Didn’t check my Last Emails,Because my Isp has changed his Server
Now, I don’t Know anybody translated my Drama or not.
2 Years ago, I chose Khayyam’s Rubaiyat (translated by Edward Fitzgerald , EH Whinfield , Shahriar Shahriari , Saidi , ….)
`Rubai' is a four line verse: where lines 1 & 2 speaks of major and minor accepted `truths', line 3 states a dilemma, contradiction or conclusion, and line 4 confirms or re-asserts the conclusion, with emphasis
I Mixed Those Rubaiyat To Describe This World Like a cook or Like a chemist ,Because I Have studied chemistry in university or Perhaps Like a dramatist , Because I Have written a symbolic drama based on 11 sept or Maybe Like a empirical man or mayhap Like a materialist Because I believe in logic, not pope.
But during 2 years ago I Wrote a monolog based on Khayyam’s ideas . It opens a window into Iranian’s Culture. It named Come, stay & Leave .
We always Speak about other World but we realy live in This world … Like a Dream, Like a pottery, Like a lantern and so -on, Take The cash & Let The Credit go…. The Drum beat is Best Heard From a Distance.
