I work with Acrylics, prints and spray on canvas.
I am "represented" by Gallerie-Rasmus in Denmark, and am looking for an international Gallery, who wants to show my work.

My inspirations are my own various views on situations in the everyday life. And the thing that got me started was visiting California in oktober 2007... The place and the people really inspired me, and the natural choise of expresion was painting!

Hi Michael:

Thanks for adding me as a BAP friend. I just noticed awhile back you posted an inquiry asking about good NY/USA galleries but not quite those at the MAJOR level. While I certainly am not a major painter, I have studied the markets over here quite a bit. One gallery that shows very strong work and is open to new/emerging artists is METAPHOR Gallery in NY. They have some amazing artists and from a distance at least seem pretty open to looking for new artists. I would also suggest you go online and register with White Columns and Artists Space to get your work seen by NY area curators, etc. Those would be 3 good resources to start with. Only this year have I really gotten off my butt and started networking, researching and submitting to great places like that. Another venue far from NY I'd note is Flanders Art Gallery in Raleigh, NC. They show quality contemporary work from all over the country (and maybe internationally). I think your work would be a very good fit for their tastes. Keep me posted on your progress! There are a million other places/resources I could mention but for now those 4 are good ones to start with. Destry Shannon Sparks
