I'm inspired by the human body, feminity, history, mythology, folklore, beauty, literature, surrealism, psychology, pretense, dreams, breath, and love.

People who's work i admire include Martha Graham, Duane Michaels, Richard Avedon, Oscar Wilde, Diane Arbus, Francesca Lia Block, Jerome Bel, Andres Serrano, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Lewis Carroll, etc.

I hold a BA in contemporary dance from UNC Greensboro.

I only use photoshop to correct things that happen in the scanning process (i scan all my negatives).
