"A prolific and critically recognized artist and musician, Gregg Simpson has exhibited his paintings, drawings, and works on paper throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia.

His work is included in several academic studies, catalogues, art history books and art journals published in Canada, France, Italy, Portugal, U.K., U.S.A.., Chile and Australia and has been exhibited in several historical surveys on surrealism and abstraction.

He is also the subject of a BRAVO TV Documentary: "A New Arcadia: The Art of Gregg Simpson". The artist has received numerous grants and awards and is represented in both museum and private collections across Canada, Asia and Europe."

Nicole Donnely, a curator in Mexico City, wrote that “Simpson’s paintings flux between the solid, rooted world and the ethereal.”
