In 1516 Sir Thomas More conceived Utopia as a fictional island in the Atlantic Ocean constructed as an ideal society. The name, from Greekorigin, means no-place. - I used to live in Brooklyn. We had a great and supportive art community. Founded the Gowanus Memorial Artyard and help produce and curate great exhibitions. The Monumental Show, the Monument Redefined, Bridges, Williamsburgh All-Fools, Terminal Show. I am not holding on to the past but in those days artists took the power to create the art world and were not slaves to an antiquated commercial gallery and museum system. I am a teacher, artist, curator and doctoral candidate at Teachers College Columbia
