J4Kd - [jak'd] adj. 1) Very stimulated or excited, as from coffee or other drugs. 2) Broken or ruined, not working properly or as intended, cut or lacerated by means of a makeshift knife or blade, in generally poor or injured condition. 3) Stolen in a violent fashion. 4) Well muscled, iron-bound, pumped. 5) Improper. 6) Increased, raised, accelerated. 7) Designed for the insertion of a plug.

My professional moniker is J4Kd, my given name is Bryn Jackson, and my medium of choice is digital video. I started off creating pieces that blurred the line between representation and abstraction, but my process has evolved into one involving street performance.

I believe in massive collaboration challenging notions of traditional authorship, and I'm always looking for new people to share my process with.

I'm interested in the opportunities and limitations presented by consumer technologies and the effects they have on human perception and desire.

Hello Bryn,
My interest in writing you today is to share Brooklyn’s greatest architectural public artwork.
Why it is unknown is a mystery. But it is threatened. And nobody knows it exists.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d2/Arch_and_EmpireSB_-_Grand_Army_Plaza_Brooklyn.jpg
The Tower of the Empire State Building bisects the Arch in Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza.
Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and architect Calvert Vaux created the framework for this continuing work-in-progress as the Civil War ended, 25 years before the Arch, 65 years before the Tower, 105 years before the Mirador, and 145 years before I stumbled across it.

In starting the “Grand Army Plaza” group here at Brooklyn Arts Project, I hope to share ideas on how to raise public awareness to protect and promote this View as an historic visual corridor. Development threatens to eclipse the view.
Please forward the links to friends, artists, architects, bloggers, politicos, media and civilians.
Your friend, Richard

Human perception and desire come hand in hand when it comes to humans.
What are we with out our emotions? Take them away and our perceptions and desires truly reveAl themselves for what they are, trick and treats. But how in the hell are we conviince by them?

Why should we care? or caring is just a trick for us to follow the rules. It seems to me that we might just be robots guided by the emotional programs in wich life supplies the inputs and outputs.

Thats what life is all about tricks and treats..............

LIFE NEEDS TO REPRODUCE SO IT TRICKS YOU WITH DRUUGS! INTO THINKING THAT YOU DESIRE SO THAT YOU CAN RELEASE YOUR SEED. WITH OUT THE DESIRE, THERE WOULDn't BE MUCH REPRODUCTION GOING on AND THIS WOULD BE A DISASTER FOR LIFE.

We get triked by the treats IN EVERY ASPECT ESPECIALLY WITH THAT HORE CALLED LOVE

We the artist are the bigest hore of them all!

This is why we are here posting so that we might feel a sense of worth. But few of us know that what we do is worthless. If we cant convince others of our worth then we will end up with a truthfull cut in our vains or a sturdy tight rope for our necks.

but all is not lost....

Once in a while for a short time we get to taste freedom when we dont give a dam either way. This is when the creative powers are pure when your worth is dictated by your desire to find the questions and not the drug induced reality of Love, Hate, Desire.

Then we die.........
