How often are you the first among your friends to try something new?
All the time

Nimer's abstraction cleverly takes two strikingly contrasting forms which, by complementing and harmonizing with that has gone before, gels the whole composition together. Thus the instructed, loosely dynamic areas of sometimes thick impasto, sometimes thin, transparent paint, that rises up in layers, echoes the more organic forms. Meanwhile the rigid lines of pure bright colors that look like the rainbows a prism is thrown out when it is hit by sparkling rays of the sun, repeats the geometrical forms of the picture. At the same time holding the composition together, the play of these contrasting elements makes for an exciting and an original image.
