New Kitchen

I was thinking about Modern Architecture, and then I looked at my kitchen that badly needs a remodeling. Since I’m on a limited budget I thought it would be cheaper to paint a painting. I enjoy line and pattern in my work, and the active feel to repeated pattern. I use tossed out kitchen utensils to make some of the dots; spatchula, colanders and strainers. Sometimes I cut up a laundry basket for a different kind of mark. I really enjoy Robert Raunschenberg’s work and how he brought the real world into his studio. I thought if I could use found objects for mark making it would be an interesting twist on the same principle.
