I croccheted 13 panels based on the fibonacci sequence and then sewed them together.  Once I began sewing them together, I was able to crocet the enitre peice around a glass bead approximately 9" in diameter.  The object would then bel lit up from within and the shadow that it casts on the ceiling is a visual representation of the croceted fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio.
