Title: (artists) Re: Filling the Portland Art Museum with Solid Concrete.
What a great idea! Leave the art all in place and pump in solid concrete up to the ceiling. That would cement the elitism of the establishment into what could be called "eternity". I love the idea. Lets bring it up with the board of directors at the next meeting . The advantages start with lowering the costs of management and the need to have endowments for the curators. Maybe we can get the city of portland to donate another 3 million dollars to help pay for the concrete?

The City of Portland is now backing a plan to fill the Portland Art Museum From the basement to the top of the skylights with solid concrete. Yes it's absurd by I kind of adore the idea. Entombing the over rated art inside for eternity in solid concrete could make it the world's most famous museum. Its exciting to think that Portland will have beaten MoMa and the Guggenheim to it before it becomes a world wide trend. What I do not like about it is the City's plan to contribute seven hundred million dollars to the project. Does Concrete really cost that much or is this an other OHSU Aerial Scam? Its good that RACC is finally doing something for the community. ( )

This will be the world's finest example of concrete visual poetry and a monument to the foreword thinking of Portland. I do hope the police will use force to remove the radicals who say they want to be burried alive in concrete for art. In a right to die state we should always expect to find some idiot willing and ready to die for art.

Concrete pumping orgy in progress:
