Brooklyn Art Project is home to thousands of artists, art enthusiasts, and creative professionals from around the world. BAP was created as an experiment in 2007 to see what would happen if we built a community of artists, designers and creatives to connect and collaborate in ways never before possible through digital.
BAP's growth and collaborative exhibitions with the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Burning Man to name a few, have proven the experiment worthwhile and forged a new channel for artists everywhere to have their work seen. One BAP member artist summed it up best saying "BAP made me brave".
Named one of HOW Magazine's top sites, BAP showcases 100,000+ artworks and hosts ongoing collaborative projects. BAP was launched in 2007 by brothers (and native New Yorkers) Anthony and James Cospito.
