THE REBEL SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND WELL. IT TAKES NEW DIRECTIONS AND BOLD NEW APPROACHES, NEW COLORS ON THE PALLETTE, NEW TOOLS FOR APPLICATION, RECYCLING PIGMENT, CANVAS, AND ANY MATERIAL AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO FRAMING THE COMPLETED IMAGE. THIS DECADE RECCESSION HAS PUT “ART” AS A CAREER CHOICE IN LIMBO. SOME ARTISTS LIVING UNDER THE LEVEL OF POVERTY, STILL CONTINUE TO PAINT, EVEN THOUGH THEY CAN NOT AFFORD TO REALIZE THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL. LARGE FORMAT IMAGES ARE ONLY AFFORDED THE WEALTHY OR RECIEPTIANTS OF GRANTS. THE SCHOLARY INSTITUTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE YOUTH AND THE LIFETIME “ARTISTS” ARE DISCARDED LIKE YESTERDAYS NEWS, JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE OVER 50. THEIR ISN’T ANY PROGRAMS AVAILABLE AND THE WEALTHY ONLY INVEST IN ART RECOGNIZED IN THEIR SOCIAL CIRCLES AS “IMPORTANT”. ARTISTS, UPON THEIR DEMISE, ARE DISCOVERED AND THEIR WORK HAS A VALUE WITH COLLECTERS, GALLERIES, AND MUSEUMS. IT’S AS THOUGH THIS IS THE ROAD TRAVELED MOST FREQUENTLY BY ARTISTS. YET, OUR SOCIAL ORDER APPLAUDS AND GIVES PRAISE TO ALL ATHLETIC COMPETITION, WINNERS OF AUTO AND BOAT RACES, AND SPONSORS THEM WITH MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACTS. OUR ILLEGAL “WARS” COST TRILLIONS OF TAX-PAYERS DOLLARS AND THE AVERAGE LIFETIME ARTIST IS LEFT IN DESPAIR, UNLESS THEY CAN HUSTLE THE SYSTEM, AND RECEIVE, “CRAZY PAY”.

FUNNY, BUT IT IS A KNOWN FACT, THAT IS THE END!

Your caps lock is on.
ALOHA, I AM LEGALLY BLIND AND USE OF LARGE CAPS MAKES IT EASY FOR ME, WHOM IS THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS IN MY BLOGS, POEMS,SONGS AND LETTERS TO THE EDITOR. I AM WAITING FOR SURGERY TO REPLACE MY LENS, $10,000 FOR BOTH EYE'S AND THEN I WILL BE ABLE TO SEE NORMAL AND USE SMALL CAP LETTERS IN MY COMMUNICATION.
It's super Different, i learn that, but the reason it's the weather, the people and the culture, i see my art it's so colorful maybe 'cause i live in the caribbean, we are so LOUD so MUCH of EVERYTHING, and my painting are that way, and when you see painters like for example from the Unites State they don't have bored colors but they have more neutrals colors, we choose the colors without think this it's my culture, it's just your interior make you choose those colors, but that's the GOOD think about painting we are all different and our past, our culture it's what make us GOOD painters ;).

I think it all really depends on what you paint and how you paint. For instance, for me, painting isn't reactionary to my environment. It is just something I do. I react to the materials I'm working with. I don't think that colors would be specific to different parts of the world. Pigments are available in a very wide range most places. Whats to limit any painter in their choice of color.
ALOHA FROM HAWAII, COLORS OF MY PALLETTE ARE GREATLY INFLUENCED BY MY ENVIRONMENT AND RELATE TO THE SPIRIT I WISH TO ENVOKE IN THAT PARTICULAR PROJECT. I CAN LIGHTEN IT UP WITH A "FAUVISTIC" APPROACH BY WHITENING THE SPECTRUM, OR DARKEN THE MOOD WITH COLORS OF THE PALLETTE. THAT IS CREATING A MOOD.
