Brooklyn Art Project

Hello again,
I am a web designer and I am always looking for really cool sites for inspiration or to help me with print or web related issues from time to time. I think if we come together and toss a couple of links to some inspirational sites, or to some sites with resources to help us we could really help each other out. Show me what drives you to do your best.

Here are only a couple of mine to help break the ice.

Resources:
Free Range Stock - This site only asks that you register, and is filled with free high res photos. When you click download a window comes up asking to comment on the photo but you can choose to not comment and still download the file. The photos can be used commercially.

Stock XChange - Another nice place for free stock images but be careful as you need to check under the image to make sure the license suits your needs. Some images ask you to write the author for commercial permission.

TutsPlus.com - Misc tutorials for photoshop, illustrator, after effects, and more, you can view some tutorials for free or pay around $9 a month and view them all. Ther are still a ton of free tutes to keep you entertained.

Computer Arts Mag - Amazing free tutorials in pdf format for photoshop, illustrator and more.

Brusheezy - Filled with free photoshop brushes from foliage to lettering.

Tutorialized - Tutorials for 3d, photoshop, illustrator, web design, and more.

Inspiration
Prologue - Incredible film, vfx, and television work. Check out the reel.

CG Channel - This site has some of the most beautiful cg ooiv seen. It also has tutorials and a job board.

The KDU - One of the biggest design groups out there with members worldwide. From illustration to digital to clothing they do it all and they do it well. Wish i worked for them.

GO Media - With cool work and cool clients go media is a very cool design agency. They do print, clothing, web, media and probably more. They have done work for the red hot chilli peppers and a few other high end talents. They also have the Go Media Zine with really nice tips and tricks.

Video Copilot - This is for after affects fans. This guy has a ton of high quality video tutorials that show you, in depth, how to create stunning visual broadcast quality effects using after effects. Basic and advanced tutorials are available, all which are stunning. It seems as if his site may be on the fritz right this second but trust me its very good and you should bookmark and go back to it later.
