Starting out with one rubbing transfer onto paper (32x170 inches); students look for images within the field of dots/rubbing and outline those images with pencil.
The images are biomorphic (partly representational, partly abstract) in nature.
Student brings representational value by defining faces/figuration onto the drawings with more pencil and paints.
Students then apply collage from current magazines; working collage into the drawings.
Larry Caveney then goes into artwork with his own imagery; that being the Jam Master Johnny Series (male figures with boxer shorts/suits)
Pieces are then cut into sections and framed under glass.
