SOHO20's new  Residency Lab aims to foster open dialogue between working artist and visiting public. Cultivating possibilities of gallery as creative incubator, SOHO20's full exhibition space will be offered to a selected artist as a studio from July 21 - August 22, 2015. The program is designed to support the creation of new work, while offering opportunities to experiment with a studio practice on public view, and active interactions with daily visitors. The selected artist will be promoted through an individualized distributed postcard, as well as visibility on the SOHO20 website and email newsletters.  The artist will have the opportunity to give an artist talk mid way through the residency, and participate in the annual SOHO20 artist members' group show in December 2015.

Deadline: Friday May 1, 2015

Manyang Reath Kher is a ‪#‎refugee‬ from ‪#‎Sudan‬. After losing both of his parents and being bit by a King Cobra snake and surviving, he has created a non-profit called Humanity Helping Sudan Project where he is raising funds for the people of Sudan to develop their own societies.

Read all about him! He has a very compelling story. If he gets enough votes for the Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition, he will fly to Berlin, Germany to speak to World Leaders regarding his cause. A lot is at stake here.

We need to get as many people to vote for him as possible!

Aloha From My Studio, Young People are expressing themselves in Old Schools of Art, and unaware of any alternative until NOW! “Pidgin X Press”

A New School that has been in existence, since the stroke of midnight in the first moment of this Century, year 2000. It was a Success on the Island of Maui for a year until 9/11 and Homeland Security Paranoia; that couldn't secure our borders or maintain vigilance in airports. A Recession arrived and 8 years of a Drought in the Art Market/World. I couldn't afford to live on Maui & moved to The Big Island in 2008 into a Studio on Banyan Drive in Hilo, Hawaii. I learned How to use a computer and communicate on a small and non-existent budget, while recycling art materials to create projects in the medium of Oil/canvas. Now, 2014 has arrived and I am still Struggling because “Art Society” has Banished Me for Arrogance and My constant postings of my Imagery; labeling me “SPAM” and banning me from over 40 sites and censoring Me from Others. Google Plus Banned Me for Life and Offer No Venue to Deny or Defend any Accusation. I am #1 Art Spammer in This World! I Accept This Title with Great Humility.....Thank You. (Where You Have Achieved V.I.P. Status in My Book.). (Google Is Tyranny!) Don't Be Paranoid, But Vigilant to the Fact That these Social Web Sites are Controlled With A Manical Zeal.......You/I Have No Right To Our Constitutional Rights nor any Legal Representation. Like Cattle you/I are herded into a herd (of dull witless souls)without “Freedom” or have ability to express yourself unrestricted, without spying or denial of Human Rights. Not like what is practiced on The Internet by All Social Platforms. We Gave Those Greedy “Oligarchy” Military, Industrial, Complex Groups Power & Wealth.

I want to Spark a Revolution in Consciousness! We Start Thinking Change.

It is possible to completely rethink our Life, and Apply New Processing in Our Application of Belief. Equality.......with Love and Adoration for All of Life. The Radiant Quality of the Source Code in Each & Everything is Connected like a Fine Lace Table Cloth. A Drop in the Ocean Can Become a Tidal Wave. We Are The Warrior's and Now We Only Have To “Think” To Make A Difference. Cleanse Your Heart & Soul of All Evil Transgressions. Learn To Live ALOHA. If You Are Capable To Believe in Freedom, Then This New School of Art is For You! No Rules! No Regulations! Graduation with Diploma after completion of 1 Successful Art Project. Stimulate Creativity, Encourage Creativity, Get Busy & Have FUN.....
