Here is a short paragraph from photographer, Lee Peterson, based in San Diego, CA talking about his "Global Art." A mixture of photography and Photoshop:
Over the last four decades, LEE PETERSON has developed a unique approach to the photographic medium as an art form. His photographs have been described as cutting-edge, "media-ambiguous" imagery. The dramatic, large-scale, elegant abstract landscapes/seascapes - often waterscapes in his unique Global Forms - they appear to have been painted, rather than photographed. Sizes are 16x16, 24x24, 30x30 inches
Lee Peterson has been awarded 2nd place for Surrealism in the 2008 Art Of Rome and Nominee in Px3 France for his Global Art.
He has developed an original approach to the photographic medium as an art form.
Some of his photographs are on my page on Brooklyn Art project too in his album under his name.
