Call for Proposals--performance, video, sound, music, dance

Do you work in a performance medium?

CALL FOR PROPOSALS– The Panoply Performance Laboratory (PPL), a co-operative of collaborating artists, is currently in search of performance work
that is experimental, in terms of medium, content, and other form, considers the contemporary and historic body of Music, Theater, and Performance Art, and takes advantage of the possibilities inherent to performance as a medium for the monthly PERFORMANCY FORUM in Bushwick, Brooklyn, USA. Cross-disciplinary works are encouraged, curation favors work that is maximalist or otherwise didactic and/or considers the intellectual and emotional experience of the
audience/participants. Artists performing in the past four PERFORMANCY FORUMs include Paul Pinto, Michael Durek, Genevieve White, Meghann Snow, Hector Cononge, Gratuitous Art Films, Tom Swirly, Sylvie Jensen, Emily James, Velez Moore, and many others.

Artists from any country welcome, there are no production or artist fees, we simply offer the space to you for the FORUM, invite the community of
Brooklyn and NYC in to see the work, and can take HD video for you if
you'd like documentation.

If you are interested in applying to perform at the PERFORMANCY FORUM please e-mail Esther and Brian at panoplylab@gmail.com with a bio/CV,
description of proposed work, technical requirements, and any links (to
myspace page, youtube/vimeo/other
videos of past performances/video/etc, or images) that would help us
understand what you do.

ALOHA FROM HAWAII, I HAD ONE VERY SUCCESSFUL INTERACTIVE-SELFDESTRUCT-RESPECT SHOW CALLED,"ART SHOW FROM THE LAVA FLOW" UNDER THE STARS WITH A FOOL MOON FOR LIGHTING. IN CREATION I HAD 60 OIL/CANVAS IMAGES AND A GHETTO BLASTER WITH A BONGO DRUM AND A 40 YEAR OLD TAKAMINE GUITAR. I USED THE COCONUT WIRELESS AND ABOUT 60 POSTERS PRINTED ON A COMPUTOR/PRINTER EFFORT THAT DREW A FEW HUNDRED GUESTS THAT ONLY A FEW GOOD LESBIANS ACTUALLY DANCED UPON. I TRIED TO INSPIRE MORE ANGER AND RELEASE, BUT FEW COMPLIED. I STILL HAVE THE IMAGES READY FOR THE NEXT PERFORMANCE AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN AUCTION/SALE OF THE IMAGES AFTERWARD WITH TERMS AGREED UPON AND ARTIST LISCENSE RESPECTED. THE IMAGES ARE AN AVERAGEOF 3FT.X 4FT. SO THE DANCE AREA WOULD BE SIZABLE AND THE CAMERA DOCUMENTATION HILARIOUS.....THEY ARE QUITE DURABLE OIL ABOUT A QUARTER OF AN INCH THICK ON SOME AND VERY COLORFUL. SHIPPING IS REASONABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE FLAT AND CLEAN-CUT TO BE ASSEMBLED LAYING FLAT TO BE DANCED UPON. THE VERY FIRST TIME FINE ART IS SHARING THE STAGE WITH "DANCE".
