Session I: May 3 - 31, 2014

Session II: June 15 - July 13, 2014

Dacia Gallery invites artists to participate in the Artist Residency Program for 2014, in picturesque, Sibiu, Romania, a city located deep within Transylvania at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Dacia's Artist Residency provides an academic program to inspire, refine and redefine the creative direction of artists in a painting intensive four-week program. Artists will meet at Dacia's Artist Studio in Sibiu's grand plaza and paint the figure from life and landscapes in the old city, the mountains and countryside. Enjoy weekend painting and sketching trips to art museums, medieval Byzantine monasteries to study ancient frescos and icons. And what’s a trip to Romania without a visit to the medieval castle of Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Dracula. Plus a group exhibition in Sibiu, which will also be exhibited in New York City. This is a wonderful opportunity to study and paint abroad, if you are interested in participating please contact the gallery for more information.
