Liloveve Gallery is pleased to present the work of Vladimir Bachinsky. On view from April 30, 2010 to
May 30, 2010, this NY exhibition includes most recent works exploring the effect of soft ultraviolet light
spectrum to create a palpable aura that emanates from the work. Bachinsky’s style is an amalgam of
Byzantine, classical tradition, and modern inner exploration. Populated by figures whose poses echo
classical depictions of surreal awe and spiritual veneration, these dreamlike landscapes contain an ethereal
quality that frees the viewer from naturalistic perceptions. Hints of fluorescence and phosphorescence act
upon our senses, ushering the viewer into the abstract world of visual emotions: This exhibition reveals
how the artist travels freely and fluently between classical traditions and his own imaginary vision.
