Event Description

One way to orient oneself is by quiet, sustained looking.

At first glance one sees color and lots of it. The color fields in Gigi Naftzger's paintings create a restfulness that encourages one to linger, to look longer.

Looking longer encourages seeing. In seeing, a new relationship with a painting or drawing occurs. Your relationship with space shifts. Each object has new meaning in its proximity to another.

This solo show of Gigi Naftzger's work comprises paintings and several drawings.
