Shogo Miyasaka hopes people feel a kind of atmosphere or aerial feeling by facing his art work.
Dyeing cloth is the basic technique of his expression. He uses wood and resin in combination to dyed cloth. He draws concrete elements with abstract forms. He is especially interested in the touch of expression when these materials are mixed.
There are various scenes in the life of people. One’s sense unconsciously takes in the scenery in vague form and color that exist there. The sight in the memory is not the same as the one in reality. Fragmentary forms and colors being connected as time passes, it remains in the brain as the scenery with added feeling.
Shogo Miyasaka tries to express the atmosphere of a certain scene by such thought and materials.
