Event Description

From Sept 15 to Nov 30, 2010 the Live Well Again Art and Event Series will feature the work of Santa Monica native Shingo Francis, painter and installation artist. Currently based in New Yorkand Yokohama, Japan, Shingo returns to his childhood beach locale to showcase paintings as well as create commissioned works in the hotel lobby using Japanese Lanterns, Iromizu paper and even Hula Hoops. Some of the works deal with cultural and social boundaries, and explore the psychological and emotional space created from a multi-cultural background and environment.
