About Sediment:
Sediment (n.) Solid fragments of inorganic or organic material that come from the weathering of rock and are carried and deposited by wind, water, or ice... Metaphorically, all kinds of visual stimuli are stored in the "sediment" of our memory throughout our lives. In the artwork, "Sediment”, artist Anna Frants explores the scientific principles of vision and inquires how images compiling long term memory are pulled out. Not being classified in historical timeline, sometimes images achieve perfect aesthetical combinations despite a demanding timetable.
