Event Description

Ouchi Gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition, Digital Ukiyo-e® Beyond the 1200 years “Color of Yanagidani Kannon Temple” by Rei Niwa. Niwa’s photographs explore regional traditional Japanese cultures through the children's eyes. The impressive Japanese coloring in his works illustrates seasonal changes in a cannon temple.

During the opening reception, there will also be a performance presented by Hayride Casualties, who does climate folk music, a fusion of folk, bluegrass, indie, satire of the absurd injustice of climate change, and of course, hope for future generations.

OPENING RECEPTION:
TUESDAY, 4/5/2016,
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

PERFORMANCE will start at 8:30pm
