Tao Meditation/Inner Alchemy - 8pm
If you are stressed out -- by your studio practice or trying to get your work out of the studio and into the world; if you are experiencing health issues -- related to art-making or any other part of your life... Or if you are simply curious about Tao or Qigong, you might like Tao body-mind methods. They are easy to learn (even fun) and can alleviate many of the discomforts we accumulate in urban/artistic living.

TaoZen uses traditional Taoist methods... Qigong, Tai Chi Visual and Energetic Meditation practices. Qigong includes scores of breath-movements that range from vigorous and challenging to subtle and profound. They can be done lying, sitting or standing and can be outwardly dramatic or invisible. Because of this broad range -- and because many are soft, healing and balancing--Qigong is a wonderful supplement to other body-mind practices as well as an independent practice.
