Artist
Mari Itaya
As a painting material she mainly uses a ballpoint pen. She draws a little strange world and fishes living there as a motif by a pointillism stippling, lines and silkscreen printing. She is seeking my own way of presentation, hoping to create works, which make people feel happy when they see them. She was born in Kobe in Japan. She grew up in U.S.A. until 5 years old. She majored in Textile Design at Art University in Tokyo now, and she studies in Finland as an exchange student in 2011. She has some group or solo exhibition from 2008.
