Love as an image, like something created by our psyche that deforms the contours of the image and vision of a "fantastic".
Marcello is a young graduate student who falls for an actress who seems to be a woman of another era. And Marcello fell in a state of anxiety, which can not get out, even with the help of his girlfriend or a psychoanalyst.
