Artist Biography:
Fascinated by the archaic beauty in the shape of Chinese characters of ancient times, I have created works of calligraphy and seal carving. Although my main field is classical seal craving, I have tried various forms of expression free from tradition. Based upon the elegance of the Chinese classics, I seek to create fresh works with modernity and sense of Japanism.
Getting a clue from Chinese character tattoos in fashion among Europeans and Americans, I attempt body painting with the authentic beauty of calligraphy.
