Philippine Center proudly presents: Janos Delacruz and Gel Jamlang with Guest Artist Fil Delacruz. In an exhibition entitled “HUMAN / NATURE”. Featuring a collection of recent oil paintings which opens on March 12, Monday at 6:00 pm at the Philippine Center 556 Fifth Avenue, New York, N.Y. USA.
The new series of works explores the relationship between man and nature. What is achieved in this collection is a surrealistic image on how nature sustains both life and the human soul. This show explores the mysticism and devotion of man in understanding nature and life.
Janos Delacruz is a painter and printmaker, He held a solo exhibition of Intaglio Prints at the Crucible Gallery in 2006, He has held (3) Three Solo Exhibitions. He is an officer of the Philippine Association of Printmakers. The Artist resides at Bahaysining Muntinlupa City, Philippines
Gel Jamlang is a painter, She has painted her Floral inspired murals in different commercial and residential spaces in Metro Manila since 2000. She is currently a partner in a construction and design company called Pueblo Builders. She is represented by Artists Gallery, Paranaque City, Philippines.
Fil Delacruz, is a renowned painter and printmaker. He has held over 20 solo shows in the last 25 years. A CCP Thirteen Artist Awardee. And is recently awarded the Patnubay ng Sining at Kalinangan by the City of Manila. The Artist resides at Bahaysining Muntinlupa City, Philippines
