"Friends of F8TL 2" - Invitational Show Opening
F8TL Studio is proud to present the second edition of our "Friends of F8TL" invitational show, "Friends of F8TL 2".
See the mind bending, polychromatic art of Topher Sipes, Claude Dylan Ramey, Doug Pollard, Aldon Mines, Shannon Gowen, Evan Hublein, and featuring Special Guest Johnny Villareal and his Imagination Station!
The show starts at 6:00 PM and ends at midnight. There will be beer and refreshments. The gallery will also be open on Sunday, June 28, from noon til 4:00 or so and also by appointment.
F8TL Studios is a local San Marcos, Texas, artist co-op/studio/gallery space that is operated by its members. Begun in early 2009, its founders are former members of Dormouse Fantabulous plus others. The focus is on photography, painting, illustration, and small sculpture.
The group stages monthly shows and happenings at the studio/gallery and is involved in bringing awareness to the Arts and the many artists living in the San Marcos area. Community involvement is a primary goal.
The studio features a full photographic darkroom, painting studio and gallery space.
Current members include:
Dieter Geisler, Lisa Cowling, Matt Jobson, Diane MacGregor, Cisco Martinez, Lora Hufton, Laura Racster, Tara Spies, Kevin Walsh, and Alex Webb
