THE GALLERIES AT CENTER ON HALSTED PRESENT ARTIST JUN-JUN STA.ANA EXHIBIT OPENING

Art Opening 04/23The Galleries at Center on Halsted will present artist Jun-Jun Sta.Ana in a show entitled “Bulong from Within: Motifs, Invocations and Incantations;. An opening reception will be held Friday, April 23 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm at Center on Halsted, located at 3656 N. Halsted in Chicago. The exhibit will run through May 31, 2010.

Artist quote: In my art I employ multiples, texts, and symbols to address my view of issues on identity, and it also carries with it the intent to express emotions onto the works that would hopefully come across to the viewer. I like the play on repetition, when patterns and “new” images form from the original, distorting “programmed” perception.
